Antarctodon sobrali
Taxonomy
Antarctodon sobrali was named by Bond et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MLP 08-XI-30-1, a tooth (isolated right p4 or m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DPV 2/84, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian estuary/bay sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Antarctodon.
