Eocenchoerus savagei
Taxonomy
Eocenchoerus savagei was named by Liu (2001). Its type specimen is IVPP V 7885, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South of Politun Village, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Gongkang Formation of China. It is the type species of Eocenchoerus.
