Prodistylomys xinjiangensis
Taxonomy
Prodistylomys xinjiangensis was named by Wang and Qi (1989). Its type specimen is IVPP V7962, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chibaerwoyi, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Suosuoquan Formation of China. It is the type species of Prodistylomys.
