Archicypraea ancillaria
Taxonomy
Archicypraea ancillaria was named by Dolin and Pacaud (2009) [1896. Cypraea praelonga sensu Vinassa De Regny [non Bellardi, 1852], p. 261. 1941. Mandolina cf. bellardiana (Schilde ). – Schilde r, p.
77, n° 11.]. Its type specimen is MNHN J04442, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is de Croce Grande, San Giovanni Ilarione, which is in a Bartonian marine limestone in the Orizzonte di Ronca Formation of Italy.
