Qatraniodon parvus
Taxonomy
Ancodon parvus was named by Andrews (1906). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CGM 8821, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NNW of Birket Qarun, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene fluvial horizon in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
It was recombined as Qatraniodon parvus by Ducrocq (1997).
