Angelocabrerus daptes
Taxonomy
Angelocabrerus daptes was named by Simpson (1970). Its type specimen is MMP 967M, a mandible (Part of right dentary with m2-4; other associated teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Angelocabrerus.
