Prosciurus mongoliensis
Taxonomy
Prosciurus mongoliensis was named by Wang and Dashzeveg (2005). Its type specimen is PC 29253, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shunkt, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.
