Pelecanoides cymatotrypetes
Taxonomy
Pelecanoides cymatotrypetes was named by Olson (1985). Its type specimen is L14564, a limb element (left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Langebaanweg, QSM, which is in a Zanclean fluvial sandstone in the Varswater Formation of South Africa.
