Atavocricetodon paaliense
Taxonomy
Atavocricetodon paaliense was named by Marivaux et al. (1999). Its type specimen is DBC 016, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paali Nala level C2 (DBC2), which is in an Oligocene fluvial-deltaic sandstone in the Chitarwata Formation of Pakistan.
