Acaremys preminutus
Taxonomy
Acaremys preminutus was named by Bordas (1939). Its type specimen is MACN PV 11246, a maxilla (right maxillary fragment with DP4-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southern Cliff of lower Chubut River Valley, near Gaiman, which is in a Colhuehuapian paralic mudstone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
