Yuomys cavioides
Taxonomy
Yuomys cavioides was named by Li (1975). Its type specimen is IVPP V4796, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jentsen, southern bank of Huangho, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Yuanchu Formation of China. It is the type species of Yuomys.
