Neotamandua australis
Taxonomy
Neotamandua australis was named by Scillato-Yané and Carlini (1998). Its type specimen is MLP 91-IX-6-5, a limb element (complete right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Comallo, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial tuff in the Collón Curá Formation of Argentina.
