Neotamandua conspicua

Taxonomy
Neotamandua conspicua was named by Rovereto (1914). Its type specimen is MACN 8097, a partial skull (posterior part of cranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santa Maria Valley Andalhuala Fm, which is in a Montehermosan/Chapadmalalan terrestrial horizon in the Andalhuala Formation of Argentina.
