Klohnia charrieri
Taxonomy
Klohnia charrieri was named by Flynn and Wyss (1999). Its type specimen is SGOPV 2993, a mandible (right mandible with partial i1, p3-m3, and partial ascending ramus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile. It is the type species of Klohnia.
