Borhyaenidium riggsi
Taxonomy
Borhyaenidium riggsi was named by Marshall (1981). Its type specimen is FMNH P14409, a partial skull (two fragments of left maxillary, one with C and anterior root of P1, other with M1-3; left mandibular ramus with root of C, roots of p1-3, m1 almost complete, m), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Puerta de Corral Quemado, which is in a Montehermosan terrestrial horizon in the Corral Quemado Formation of Argentina.
