Eopustularia balinka

Taxonomy
Eopustularia balinka was named by Fehse (2010). Its type specimen is ZMB Ga.5797.1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is RoncĂ , which is in a Bartonian marine limestone in the Orizzonte di Ronca Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Eopustularia.

Fehse 2010Medium-sized, ovate, with elongated extremities and widely spaced, coarse apertural dentition; denticles continue as short, weak folds; 16 columellar teeth, 21 labral teeth, the latter exceeding the former in number (because basic math is part of a diagnosis); maximum globosity at mid-portion; apex covered by callus.
