Taxonomy
Aksyiromys dalos was named by Shevyreva (1984). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Obayla, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Obayla Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Aksyiromys.
