Archicypraea lioyi
Taxonomy
Cypraea lioyi was named by Bayan (1870). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cava Albanello di Nogarole Vicentino (Padova collection), which is in a Lutetian carbonate marl in the Marne Euganee Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Archicypraea.
It was recombined as Archicypraea lioyi by Schilder (1927), Dolin and Pacaud (2009).
