Taxonomy
Goniorhynchus stovalli was named by Olson (1970). It is not extant. Its type locality is Norman, which is in a Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine shale/shale in the Hennessey Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Rhynchonkos stovalli by Carroll et al. (1998).
