Dacquemys paleomorpha
Taxonomy
Dacquemys paleomorpha was named by Williams (1954). Its type specimen is SMNS 12645, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dimeh, which is in a Priabonian offshore sandstone in the Birket Qarun Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Dacquemys.
