Anenchelum eocaenicus
Taxonomy
Lepidopus eocaenicus was named by Danilt'chenko (1962). Its type specimen is PIN 1413/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dabakhana Gorge, Tbilisi, which is in a Lutetian marine horizon in the Dabakhana Svita Formation of Georgia.
It was recombined as Anenchelum eocaenicus by Monsch and Bannikov (2011).
