Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
C. F. Kammerer et al. 2011Medium-sized Permian dicynodontoid characterized by the following autapomorphy: thickened region of temporal arch immediately after postorbital bar with convex ventral margin in lateral view. Further diagnosed by the following unique combination of characters: large orbits (relative to dicynodontoids of equal size), steeply angled, sloping snout, broad intertemporal region (equal in width to interobital region anteriorly, but constricting posteriorly), broad exposure of parietals, and lateral margins of adductor musculature attachment sites do not overlap on intertemporal midline.
