Brontochelys gaffneyi
Taxonomy
Shweboemys gaffneyi was named by Wood (1970). Its type specimen is BMNH R.8570 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dera Bugti (general), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in Pakistan. It is the type species of Brontochelys.
It was recombined as Brontochelys gaffneyi by Gaffney et al. (2011).
