Kenyemys williamsi
Taxonomy
Kenyemys williamsi was named by Wood (1983). Its type specimen is KNM LT 127, a partial skeleton (shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lothagam 1, which is in a Messinian/Piacenzian fluvial-deltaic sandstone in the Lothagam 1 Formation of Kenya. It is the type species of Kenyemys.
