Glibemys algeriensis
Taxonomy
Glibemys algeriensis was named by Vianey-Liaud et al. (1994). Its type specimen is GZC 32, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gour Lazib HGL52, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian terrestrial sandstone in the Glib Zegdou Formation of Algeria. It is the type species of Glibemys.
