Bustylus germanicus
Taxonomy
Adapisoriculus germanicus was named by Russell (1964). Its type specimen is Wa/358, a mandible (left dentary with M/2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Walbeck (Weferlingen), which is in a Selandian fissure fill sandstone/mudstone in Germany.
It was recombined as Afrodon germanicus by Gheerbrant and Russell (1989), Gheerbrant (1995); it was recombined as Bustylus germanicus by De Bast et al. (2013).
