Vastanolophus holbrooki
Taxonomy
Vastanolophus holbrooki was named by Smith et al. (2015). Its type specimen is GU/RSR/VAS 323, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India. It is the type species of Vastanolophus.
