Actinodon frossardi
Taxonomy
Actinodon frossardi was named by Gaudry (1866). Its type specimen is MNHN 1908.20.6, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dracy Saint Loup, which is in an Autunian terrestrial horizon in the Muse Formation of France.
It was recombined as Onchiodon frossardi by Werneburg (1997); it was recombined as Sclerocephalus frossardi by Schoch and Milner (2000).
