Ulanomys mirificus
Taxonomy
Ulanomys mirificus was named by Dashzeveg (1990). Its type specimen is PSS 20-1, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 100 m south of Tsagan Khushu Quarry 2, which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial claystone in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Ulanomys.
