Onchiodon thuringiensis
Taxonomy
Onchiodon thuringiensis was named by Werneburg (2008). Its type specimen is NHM-WP 2140a-z, a partial skeleton (complete skull and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kammerberg near Manebach, which is in an Asselian terrestrial horizon in the Manebach Formation of Germany.
