Glanochthon latirostris

Taxonomy
Archegosaurus latirostris was named by Jordan (1849). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GPIB-4, a skull. Its type locality is Quarry at Rummelbach, Gresaubach, which is in an Autunian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Lauterecken-Odernheim Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Cheliderpeton latirostre by Boy (1993) and Schoch and Milner (2000); it was recombined as Glanochthon latirostris by Schoch and Witzmann (2009).
