Carpenteroptera onzii
Taxonomy
Carpenteroptera onzii was named by Pinto (1990). Its type specimen is UFRGS MP-I-6608, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Fazenda Juca, Anitapolis, which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian terrestrial shale in Brazil. It is the type species of Carpenteroptera.
