Taxonomy
Anoxypristis was named by White and Moy-Thomas (1941) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-m-l R Sepkoski's reference number: 863,884]. It is extant.

It was assigned to Galeomorphii by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pristidae by Cappetta (1987), Ebersole et al. (2019), Landini et al. (2019), Maisch IV et al. (2025), Cicimurri et al. (2025).
