Sauroscaptor tharavati
Taxonomy
Sauroscaptor tharavati was named by Kammerer et al. (2016). Its type specimen is ISI R210, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Golet I + II, which is in a Wuchiapingian wet floodplain sandstone/mudstone in the Kundaram Formation of India. It is the type species of Sauroscaptor.
