Nipponomaria yokoyamai

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria yokoyamai was named by Hayasaka (1943). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kinshozan, Kuro zone, Akasaka, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.

It was recombined as Zhonghuaspira yokoyamai by Nützel and Nakazawa (2012); it was recombined as Nipponomaria yokoyamai by Asato and Kase (2016); it was recombined as Biarmeaspira yokoyamai by Mazaev (2017).
