Gomphos progressus
Taxonomy
Gomphos progressus was named by Li et al. (2016). Its type specimen is IVPP V20259, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wulanhuxiu - layer 4, which is in an Irdinmanhan terrestrial mudstone in the Ulan Shireh Formation of Mongolia.
