Tapirulus hyracinus
Taxonomy
Tapirulus hyracinus was named by Gervais (1850). Its type specimen is MNHN LDB 206, a maxilla (left mandible with m2, m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Tapirulus.
