Mixtotherium priscum
Taxonomy
Mixtotherium priscum was named by Stehlin (1908). Its type specimen is Ef.151, a maxilla (Left maxilla with P3-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Egerkingen, Huppersand fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland.
It was synonymized subjectively with Mixtotherium gresslyi by Hooker (1986).
