Metasarcodon udovichenkoi
Taxonomy
Sarcodon udovichenkoi was named by Averianov (1994). Its type specimen is ZIN 78969, a tooth (Right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Andarak 2, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Alai Beds Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
It was recombined as Metasarcodon udovichenkoi by Lopatin (2006).
