Nuryctes qinlingensis

Taxonomy
Neoryctes qinlingensis was named by Tong (1997). Its type specimen is IVPP V10203, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shipigou, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hetaoyuan Formation of China. It is the type species of Neoryctes, Nuryctes.

It was recombined as Nuryctes qinlingensis by Tong (2003), Lopatin and Averianov (2004), Lopatin (2006).
