Taxonomy
Theridomys ludensis was named by Vianey-Liaud (1985). Its type specimen is RIG 900, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rigal-Jouet (Quercy, MP 25), which is in a MP 25 terrestrial horizon in France.
