Crustulus fontanus
Taxonomy
Crustulus fontanus was named by Clemens (2017). Its type specimen is UCMP 136524, a tooth (upper M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Biscuit Springs (UCMP V-74122), which is in a Puercan fine channel fill siltstone/sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Crustulus.
