Paragalathea ubaghsi
Taxonomy
Galathea ubaghsi was named by Pelseneer (1886). Its type specimen is IRSNB T 10651, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mont-Saint-Pierre, near Maestricht (Ubaghs collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands.
It was recombined as Paragalathea ubaghsi by Collins et al. (1995) and Schweitzer et al. (2010).
