Taxonomy
Dikenaspis yukonensis was named by Denison (1963). Its type specimen is PU 17088, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beaver River, which is in a Silurian marine dolomite in Canada. It is the type species of Dikenaspis.
