R. H. Denison 1963The dorsal shield has a length of 28 to 30 mm., and
a ratio of width/length of .54. The rostral edge is nearly transverse.
The preorbital processes and orbital notches are very slightly developed, and the orbits are far anterior. The ratio of postbranchial length to total length is .33-.37. The posterior edge of the dorsal shield is gently convex and lacks a median lobe. The dentine ridges are moderately coarse, 5.2-6.2 per millimeter on the dorsal shield, and 5.0-5.4 per millimeter on the ventral shield.
