Taxonomy
Dorippe (Dorippe) frascone tuberculata was named by Morris and Collins (1991). Its type specimen is BMNH In 61853, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Heikea tuberculata by Collins et al. (2003); it was recombined as Heikeopsis tuberculata by Schweitzer et al. (2010), Guinot et al. (2019) and Schweitzer et al. (2021).
