Taxonomy
Cymbricia spinicostata was named by Roberts and Jell (1990). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coonigan Fm., First Discovery Limestone, New South Wales, which is in a Solvan shallow subtidal limestone in the Coonigan Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Cymbricia.
