Taxonomy
Narcine molini was named by Jaekel (1894). Its type specimen is MGP-PD 26275/6, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Postale, Monte Bolca (Padova MGP-PD collection), which is in a Ypresian carbonate limestone in Italy.
It was recombined as Titanonarke molini by Carnevale et al. (2014), Marramà et al. (2018), Marramà et al. (2018), Robin et al. (2019).
