Pseudoglyptodon chilensis
Taxonomy
Pseudoglyptodon chilensis was named by McKenna et al. (2006). Its type specimen is SGO PV 2995, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.
