Plagioctenodon thewisseni
Taxonomy
Plagioctenodon thewisseni was named by Manz and Bloch (2015). Its type specimen is UM 71650, a mandible (left dentary with P2- M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SC-117, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
